Spring into a New Hairstyle
It's finally warming up, or at least it will be soon.
So it's time for a new style, cut, or color.
Or you are ready to book your appointment with your braiding stylist for a carefree action-packed spring.
But wait, although braids and short hair are low maintenance, this doesn't mean no maintenance. So if you want healthy hair, remember these three easy steps.
1. Oil your scalp with a jojoba-enriched oil. Be sure to gently distribute the oil through the entire length of your hair shaft.
2. Clean your hair with a sulfate-free shampoo. If you are looking for growth, add peppermint oil to the shampoo. It stimulates the hair follicle, and it has antimicrobial properties.
3. Wear a satin or silk scarf to bed. Not only will this keep your flyaways at bay, but it will also protect your hair from damage due to rubbing.
Bonus Tip: Use a moisturizing hair butter or cream to keep your hair hydrated.
Okay, now you are ready to spring into the season.
